MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) has notified a Quality Control Order after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards (National Standard Body of India) to make BIS certification mandatory for Cast Iron Products. This QCO was published on 13th June, 2024 in the official gazette.
