MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) has issued a Quality Control Order to make BIS ISI mark license mandatory for Precision Roller and Bush Chains, attachments and associated Chains Sprockets as IS 2403: 2014.
This QCO was published 3rd June, 2024 by Bureau of Indian Standards (Govt. of India) in the Official Gazette.
After implementation date of this QCO, these products are not allowed to manufacture, import and sale without BIS license.
